Kiwa
The Kiwa UK Building Regulations Approved Product scheme is applicable to Unvented Water Heaters above 15 litres, to demonstrate compliance with G3 of the Building Regulations.

WRAS
Any water fitting, which when installed, will carry or receive water from the public mains water supply in the UK, must comply with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations or Scottish Byelaws. These require that a water fitting should not cause waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must be 'of an appropriate quality and standard'. WRAS Approval is the easiest way to demonstrate compliance as it is granted directly by representatives of the water suppliers and is therefore accepted by every water supplier in the UK.

Hot Water Association (HWA) Charter
The Hot Water Association (HWA) is the leading trade body for domestic hot water storage. HWA Charter members are independently audited. Independent governance supports the Charter principle of being clear and honest; not only do members have to comply with the Charter standards, they also have to show an external accreditor how they do it.

The HWA Charter Code of Practice requires that all members adhere to the following:

To supply fit for purpose products clearly and honestly described
To supply products that meet or exceed appropriate standards and building and water regulations
To provide pre and post sales technical support
To provide clear and concise warranty details to customers

Energy related Products (ErP)
