Heatrae Sadia has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Domestic Heating Product of the Year - boilers, cylinders, stoves and heat pumps category at the prestigious H&V News Awards

Heatrae Sadia have been recognised for their Megaflo Eco Solar PV Ready, an unvented cylinder that heats hot water for free by harnessing excess electricity generated by domestic solar PV arrays. A panel of judges will be basing their decision on a written entry and a presentation, with the winners announced during a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 20th April.

The Megaflo Eco Solar PV Ready cylinder heats water to the desired temperature efficiently, by using excess power from the solar panels, rather than sending it back to the grid. It is controlled by a thermostat, ready for the household to use when required, with high-performance insulation keeping the water hot.
The product is available in direct versions - in volumes of 210, 250 and 300 litres - and indirect versions - in volumes of 170, 210, 250 and 300 litres. The cylinder is NEMKO approved.
