Installers missing out on free cash

8 out of 10 heating engineers could be missing out on free cash, vouchers, and freebies, according to new research conducted by Expert Trades in partnership with Heatrae Sadia.

The research has revealed that 86% of respondents who have fitted a Megaflo cylinder are not a member of Megaflo Rewards, meaning that hundreds of installers are routinely missing out on numerous work perks.

Set up in 2013 to train and equip tradespeople with the tools and knowledge required to grow their businesses, Expert Trades has recently partnered with leading cylinder manufacturer Megaflo. The partnership led to research being undertaken into how installers can benefit from the Megaflo Rewards scheme.

The research highlighted how 40% of respondents believed that they were not installing enough cylinders to be eligible for Megaflo Rewards.

However, installers can start earning points from the moment they install their first cylinder, saving them up to redeem holiday vouchers, work wear, tools, magazine subscriptions, and cashback. The scheme also has several other benefits, including priority next day engineer call out, access to expert help and resources, and free annual service reminders.

Ashley Langran, Area Sales Manager at Heatrae Sadia comments: “Megaflo Rewards was set up to reward installers for their hard work and dedication, but it is currently the industry’s best kept secret. A large proportion of engineers already qualify for the rewards in our extensive catalogue, so we want to make sure that they don’t miss out.

“Signing up is straightforward, and we’re excited to continue working alongside installers to help grow their businesses, as well as help them to unwind during their time away from work. They are at the heart of everything that we do, and the opportunity to reward their ongoing work is something we are passionate about.”
