Here at Heatrae Sadia, we believe that supporting the trade should be a serious priority for all manufacturers. That’s why, this summer, we teamed up with Wolseley UK to bolster the efforts of Band of Builders.
Band of Builders was founded by builder Addam Smith, following his friend Keith Ellick’s diagnosis of terminal cancer. The organisation works on projects across the UK to make life easier for tradespeople suffering from illness or financial hardship. Within just a short space of time, Band of Builders has become a shining light in the industry, embodying the community spirit which everyone working within the trade is familiar with.
Through our partnership with Wolseley UK, they were able to donate an indirect 1,450L Megaflo Commercial cylinder to the group, which will be included in a future Band of Builders project.
Having subsequently worked with charitable bodies such as CRASH, which assists homelessness and hospice charities with construction related projects, it was a privilege to get involved with one of the most significant community-led movements in the industry today.
Our commercial director, Steve Rickards, commented: “We are delighted that Band of Builders will be able to benefit from this Megaflo Commercial cylinder. We look forward to hearing about how they plan on using the cylinder for the benefit of the building community.”
