Aquarius vented undersink units can also be supplied by a cold water cistern (feed tank). In such cases, the base of the cistern must be no higher than 10 metres above the top of the water heater and a vent pipe must be used.
Oversink units are supplied with an inlet valve that, when opened, allows the mains cold water supply to enter the heater and displace the hot water stored in the cylinder.
As the valve controls the displacement, the outlet is open to atmosphere so that when the unit heats up, the expanded water is allowed to drip from the spout into the basin. No other outlet should be used in conjunction with this type of product.

Santon offers a wide range of electric water heaters for commercial applications from instantaneous electric handwash units to vented and unvented point of use storage electric water heaters.
Our wall mounted boiling water units are a practical and scalable solution to provide a mains-fed supply at the point-of-use and are ideal for commercial applications that require access to boiling water at an instant.
Instantaneous water heaters provide hot water to remote locations such as garages and cloakrooms for either a shower or a tap outlet, with draw-off priority given to one outlet at a time.
